6. "The Flight" pigeon movie: I am a pigeon fancier and independent film maker located in NYC. www.pigeonsincombat.com is to promote my short film, "The Flight." It's in memory of homing pigeons in combat.
   
   "The Flight" was developed to spread the message that these were extraordinary pigeons that performed extraordinary feats of heroism -- warriors whose service to their country was recognized with the most prestigious medals of honor like the Purple Heart, Dicken Medal, and Croix De Guerre (France).
   
   The film is in the collection of the US Army Communications-Electronics Museum, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, where the history of the American war pigeons began and is kept alive today.
   
   "The Flight" has been reviewed by Dr. Rick Wright, Editor of "Winging It," an American Birding Association publication. This review is on Dr. Wright's website, "Aimophila Adventures."
